German gymnastics championships 1932
The German Gymnastics Championships 1932 took place as the fourth German equipment championship on November 12 and 13, 1932 in Berlin . The venue was the exhibition hall on Kaiserdamm. The two-day competitions took place in front of around 8,000 spectators, so the exhibition hall was almost sold out. A total of 108 German gymnasts took part in the competitions.
The freestyle exercises took place on the first day. Then the 22 remaining gymnasts fought for the championship. The decision began with a compulsory exercise. This was followed by parallel bars , a free exercise, then there was gymnastics on the horse and finally it was the horizontal bar .
German champion was Konrad Frey from MTV Bad Kreuznach , followed by Ernst Winter from Eintracht Frankfurt in 2nd place and Walter Steffens from the Bremen men's gymnastics club in third place.
