German gymnastics championships 1944

The German Gymnastics Championships in 1944 took place as the 5th German War Championship on May 13 and 14, 1944.

The venue was the Brauhofsaal in Krems an der Donau . German champion in the all-around competition was Ernst Braun from Dortmund ahead of Jakob Kiefer and Erich Wied .

Individual champions were: Reck - Alfred Müller ; Ingots - Jakob Kiefer ; Rings - Herbert Finke ; Horse jump - Erich Wied and Rudi Gauch ; Floor exercise - Ernst Braun
