The German Film Ball is a charity event the umbrella organization of the film industry eV The gala will take place in since 1974 Munich in the Hotel Bayerischer Hof place. The proceeds go to the German emergency aid for film artists . The ball takes place in January and is considered the first highlight of the industry in the new year.
