German jewelry and gemstone award

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The German Jewelry and Gemstone Prize is an international competition that was launched in 1970 by the Federal Association of the Gemstone and Diamond Industry.

Jury and conditions of participation

The jury consists of 5 to 7 well-known international jurors. In addition to aesthetics and convenience, innovation is also recognized. The prize is awarded in Idar-Oberstein . Every year, the focus is on "jewelery processing in connection with the gemstone" and once on "gemstone processing". A motto is set for each competition, and the artists must orientate themselves on the subject. The organizer publishes the conditions of participation. The prize is one of the most important international competitions in the jewelry and gemstone industry.
