B category

B-category tournaments serve to establish international mass sport. The disciplines are based on the disciplines of the International Cup. The International Cup is an international mass sports tournament and is viewed by the world association as a preparation for European and world championships.

In order to give many Twirlers the chance to participate successfully, the DTSV uses the standard music of the world association. The Twirler show their own choreographies , which differ in performance groups B / A and different age groups. The start is partly at the same time and enables the audience to compare directly what is being shown for different choreographies under the same conditions.

A category

A-category tournaments serve to establish the sport of twirling. The disciplines offered are based on the disciplines of the European and World Championships. The freestyle discipline consists of 75% for the freestyle and 25% for compulsory exercises.

For participation in the A category, the requirements for participation apply in order to ensure competitive sport.
