The German announcement sheet ( DAB for short , obsolete federal announcement sheet ) is a specialist body for tenders for Germany at national and European level .

While the public sector ( municipalities , state , federal authorities , hospitals, airports, etc.) is usually legally obliged to tender orders, commercial and private customers are now increasingly using the options of tendering in the hope of reducing their costs by publishing sales - and to minimize leasing offers.

Founded in 1954 under the name of the Federal Tendering Gazette , the DAB appears twice a week in a print and online edition nationwide with current service, construction and delivery tenders according to VOB , VOL and VOF . The magazine used to be published three times a week. The publisher is the German Tendering Gazette GmbH (formerly: Bundesausschreibungsblatt GmbH) based in Düsseldorf.
