German Institute for Men's Fashion

The German Institute for Men's Fashion was a company whose business purpose was to “promote men's fashion through services and sales of all kinds of items and to carry out all related business”.

According to Hermann M. von Eelking , “The reason for founding this organization was the finding that a harmonious suit can only result if all the men in the men's fashion industry coordinate their arrangements in good time, at least with the neighboring areas.” The institute was the publisher of color sample cards as well Specifications for fabrics and cuts. The fashion shows of the former men's fashion week / Inter-Jeans were organized by the institute.
