content

In addition to an editorial, each issue contains articles on theory and practice , discussion and dialogue , impulses and suggestions as well as information from the parish association. Subjects from all disciplines of theology and related sciences (philosophy, literature) are dealt with to a varying extent; Professional issues of the Protestant pastors play a relatively large part in this, as do those on church issues. In addition, each edition contains some sermon impulses that are based on the pericopes of the Protestant regional churches . As a rule, the Deutsches Pfarrerblatt also contains letters to the editor and reviews as well as - to varying degrees - commercial advertisements and job advertisements.

history

The first year was published in 1897. The guidebook for the Protestant rectory , which was on the market from 1897 to 1898, was included in the Deutscher Pfarrerblatt , as was the Association of German Evangelical Pastors' Associations , which appeared in 13 years from 1909 to 1921.

The Deutsche Pfarrerblatt initially came out up to the 15th issue in the 47th year in 1943. From 1943/44 to 1944/45 it was combined with the magazines Pastoralblätter , Christianentum und Leben , Homiletic monthly books and Pfarramtspraxis in a working group under the title Pfarramt und Theologie . In the post-war years 1946–48 the parish journal did not appear. With the beginning of the new publication in 1949, the count was continued with the 49th year. Thus 2017 was the 117th year of the Deutscher Pfarrerblatt published .
