The German Gravity Network 1962 (DSN62) is a national network of fixed points on which the strength of the earth's gravity field was determined with high accuracy.

history

It consisted of the German gravity network (DSGN 1952–1957) and other densification networks. With the further technical development of gravimetric measurement technology , the DSN62 was replaced by the German gravity network in 1976 as a new gravity reference system based on the International Gravity Standardization Net (IGSN71).

In the details view of the labeling plaque chosen numbers indicate the distance to the former site of the gravimeter out in meters. It can be assumed that the information z. B. 0.5 and 6.0 are to be read as with a hydrant sign and were taken individually for each measuring point .
