Germany Canyon

The Deutschland Canyon is a deep sea trench in the Weddell Sea off the Luitpold coast of the East Antarctic Coatsland .
It is named after Germany , the ship of the Second German Antarctic Expedition (1911–1912) under the direction of the geophysicist Wilhelm Filchner (1877–1957).
