Deutz D 4005
The Deutz D 4005 is a tractor from the Klöckner-Humboldt-Deutz AG from the Deutz D series , which was produced from 1965 to 1967 in the Deutz works in Cologne . A total of 12,000 tractors of this Deutz model were built.
The Deutz D 4005 had a three-cylinder, four-stroke, in-line engine of the type F3L812S with swirl chamber injection . It was air-cooled with an axial fan. The power was 35 hp , the top speed was 25 km / h . The working speeds could be varied between 2 km / h in the field and the maximum speed. Depending on the version, different gearboxes were available for this model. The engine PTO with double clutch was standard, it reached 540 rpm . For export, the D 4005 was also available with a geared PTO shaft.
The push-and-pinion gear of the type TW-35.1 of the Deutz D 4005 had eight forward and two reverse gears. In addition to the drum brake, which acted on the rear wheels of the tractor, it could also be brought to a stop using the transmission brake. With a length of 3430 mm and a width of 1515 mm, the empty weight of the tractor was 1780 kg.
The special features of the D 4005 included a sprung bucket seat with support, a speedometer and a passenger seat. In the dashboard, it also had a charge indicator light and a glow starter switch.
