Dexamenos of Chios

Dexamenos (Δεξαμενός, literally "the hospitable") from Chios was an ancient Greek gem cutter , active between 420 and 400 BC. He was one of the most talented artists in his craft and his works are among the best of their kind. Four signed stones have survived from him.
