Dexicrates (poet)
Dexicrates ( Greek Δεξικράτης ) was a Greek comedy poet from the 3rd century BC. BC, whose work is attributed to the New Comedy .
Only two lines of him have survived , which Athenaios quotes from his work Ὑφ 'ἑαυτῶν πλανώμενοι . An article in the Byzantine lexicon Suda is based on this point , in which the author added the statement that Dexicrates came from Athens . Furthermore, it is only mentioned briefly by the grammarian Ailios Herodianos .
