Dexonline is a website that offers the largest online dictionary of the Romanian language .

The free offer is based on more than 40 Romanian dictionaries, including DEX '09 , providing a total of 130,000 terms, more than 380,000 definitions and 1.4 million inflected forms. The website is one of the most popular in Romania. It is visited by 2 million people a month who start 12.5 million searches.

Dexonline was initiated in 2001 by MIT student Cătălin Frâncu, and started with 30,000 words. With the help of over 250 helpers, the offer has been steadily expanded. The website has been optimized for mobile devices since 2010.

The DEX pentru Android app is available for Android smartphones and uses the Dexonline database.
