Dialog mit Libraries is a specialist library journal that has been published and published by the German National Library (DNB, initially by the German Library ) since 1989 . It initially appeared three times a year; since 2006 there have been two editions a year, which are published at the book fairs in Leipzig and Frankfurt am Main .

According to its title, the magazine is aimed at the specialist library public. DNB employees and guest authors report on developments in-house, on their ongoing and completed projects and committee work.

Another focus is the cultural events at the DNB locations in Leipzig and Frankfurt am Main, including cooperation with cultural partners.

Dialog with Libraries has been published in Open Access since the second edition in volume 18 in 2006 . The magazine can also be obtained by subscription and as a single issue. Texts and images have mostly been under the CC-BY-SA 3.0 Creative Commons license since 2013 . Information on the printed or widespread circulation is not known.
