The Diamond Throne Pagoda of Miaozhan Si ( Chinese  妙 湛 寺 金刚 塔 , Pinyin miàozhàn sì jīngāng tǎ ) is a pagoda of the Diamond Throne Pagoda type in the Guandu District of Kunming in the Chinese province of Yunnan . It was built in 1458 during the Ming Dynasty . The site has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (4-87) since 1996 .
