The adventures of the Cappuccetto (original title: Le avventure di Cappuccetto a pois ) is a Swiss puppet series. It was created in the workshop of the Maria Perego puppet theater in Milan and was made in the Filbig recording studio in Munich in 1969 on behalf of the Swiss Broadcasting Society .

action

Cappuccetto is based on the fairy tale about Little Red Riding Hood , but adapted to the zeitgeist of the 1960s. The wolf is called Lupo Lupone and does not intend to eat cappuccetto, but rather to steal the blueberry cake with various tricks .

A defining detail on the fringes of the series is a four-piece mushroom band that accompanies the event with music. In between the events are commented on, and there are always disagreements between the spectacle-wearing uncle Filipo and his cheeky nephew. Another actor in the series is Professor Lotko, an older man with glasses and a beard, who later teaches Lupo as a police officer how to behave as a traffic cop at intersections. He has changing roles, so he is Lupo's teacher in a wide variety of roles.

publication

The first four episodes of this series were released on DVD.
