Die Betriebswirtschaft (DBW) was a German-language scientific journal on business administration .

The journal was first published in 1930 as the successor to the Zeitschrift für Handelswissenschaft und Handelspraxis (1908–1929), which is why it initially had this name as an addition. In 1943 the publication was discontinued and it was only published again in 1977, since then with the addition DBW . It was published by Schäffer-Poeschel Verlag until the end of 2016 . The publication was discontinued with the 6th edition in 2016.

In addition to scientific articles and reviews, the journal also contained brief, overview-like articles (“DBW keyword”) that introduce and structure new topics and research areas.
