The Tin Heads (original title: Metalheads) is a German - British animated series that was produced between 2002 and 2003 .

Somewhere in Europe at the time of the Middle Ages: Lady Liddy, the daughter of Baron and Lady Gruff dreams of going to a knight academy. As a girl, however, she is not allowed to do this and should instead pursue domestic activities. But that's not right for her as she would rather explore the world. She plays with the children of the butcher, the court jester and the alchemist. Her best friend is Drucilla, the daughter of a prisoner, Hugo the Hun. This usually behaves roughly and is often hungry.
Production and publication
The series was produced between 2002 and 2003 under the direction of Chris Hermans of Telemagination. The German premiere took place on 26 March 2004 on KI.KA instead. Further German-language TV broadcasts took place on ZDF and ORF eins .
