Die Fixies ( Russian Фиксики , Fixiki , from English “to fix” - “repair, mend, fix”) is a Russian 3D computer animation series for children, based on the story Warranty Men ( Russian: Гарантийные человечки ) by Eduard Uspenski . The premiere took place on December 13, 2010 on the TV show Gute Nacht, Kinder! on the station Rossija 1 . The series is also available in German and English on the Internet.
The series was created by the production company Aeroplan Productions . The idea for the series comes from Alexander Tatarsky . The animated series about the laws of physics and chemistry was included in the US education program in 2016. 104 episodes of the series are available to 30 million American students through 5th grade as digital content from Discovery Education .
A special sign of fixies is a palm with three protruding fingers (thumb, index finger and middle finger). Sometimes it's just a greeting, sometimes it's an oath of allegiance to the laws of the fixies, but most of the time it symbolizes a job well done and a goal achieved and is shown by the exclamation “Tydysch!”. The sign adorns the clothes of fixies, their tools and transport.
history
The computer-animated series tells of the "Fixies" family: little men who live in the technical household appliances and fix their breakdowns. There are nine fixies in the series: “Papus”, “Masya” and their children “Sіmka” and “Nolik” as well as grandfather “Dedus” (grandpa). In addition, Simka and Nolik's classmates: “Fayer”, “Igrek”, “Spulya” and “Verta”. Also in the animation series are "DimDimych" - an eight-year-old boy in whose house the Fixies live, his Chihuahua Kusachka (pearly whites), the boy's parents, the spider "Zhuchka", DimDimych's girlfriend "Katya", his classmate "Vaska" and DimDimych's grandmother.
In the second season, new heroes appeared: Professor “Genius Evgenievich Chudakov” and his secretary “Lizonka”.

The fixies
- Simka - The Orange Fix girl is around 11 years old and Nolik's older sister. She is always ready to help friends. The tech savvy loves to demonstrate her knowledge. In beauty , she shows great sympathy for fix boy Fayer.
- Nolik - Simka's younger brother with a blue body. He is five years old by human standards. He is friendly and direct. Nolik sometimes lacks knowledge and experience, which does not prevent him from coming up with his own opinion. Therefore, he often gets into difficult situations that he cannot cope with.
- Papus - Papus is the father of Simka and Nolik and green. In the past he worked at the spaceport, where he dealt with the most sophisticated technology. He had always dreamed of going into space, but always stayed in the second cast. He likes to talk about his youth. Now Papus is a family fix, working in an ordinary apartment. He appears for the first time in the fourth episode, Alarm Clock .
- Masya - the wife of Papus and mother of Simka and Nolik. She has a pink body and is highly skilled, especially good at kitchen appliances. She loves cleanliness and order. She does the routine work lightly and she is more practical than her dreamy husband. She first appears in the third episode, vacuum cleaner .
- Dedus - The fix grandpa is brown and resembles an old teacher. He receives ancient wisdom and customs and is a great storyteller. For the first time Dedus appears in the 26th episode, Music Box .
- Fayer - The representative of the younger generation of characters is a classmate of Simka. The strong fix boy has glowing red LEDs. Often his classmates call him the “engine of our class”. For the first time he appears in the 53rd episode, Team .
- Igrek - He is a 10 year old purple fix boy. Igrek wears glasses and goes to the same class as Simka and other Fix children. He is considered the smartest fix in her school. Igrek is a typical thinker and theorist, and he prefers not to be bothered. Friends often joke about his inconvenience or call him the "brain of our class". For the first time he appears in the 53rd episode Team .
- Spulya - Simka's 11-year-old classmate is her best friend. This girl is distinguished by the yellow color of the LEDs and her simple character. The good-natured, very trustworthy and honest Spulya is ready to believe in any nonsense. Spulya is so positive that it is impossible to argue with her. The Fix children call it the “soul of our class”. For the first time in the 53th episode appears Team .
- Verta - (from French “vert” - “green”) - Simka's ten-year-old classmate is a charming fix girl and can boast of the most beautiful LEDs in the class: light green. All boys are enthusiastic about Verti, just like they are. She is considered the most beautiful in the classroom, often uses it purposefully and thus achieves her goals. The Fix girl is ready to help, but wants to be convinced first. They often call the Fix children “The face of our class”. It appears for the first time in the 53rd episode Team .
Full evening animation films
The trailer for the first full-length animated film was released on December 27, 2016. The premiere took place on October 28, 2017.
On July 20, 2017 it was announced that the development and production of a second part had started.
In September 2018, December 29, 2019 was announced as the release date of the second film "Fixies vs. Krabots (2019)". The trailer was released on March 29, 2019.

The series is released on DVD in Russian and English. A total of 17 issues as well as the “Favorite series” and “Fixikit” collections were published. Some series are repeated in different editions.
