Die Hausgehilfin was an Austrian monthly magazine published in Vienna between 1919 and 1969 . There was an interruption in the publication during the time of National Socialism and the post-war period from 1938 to 1959. It first ran the sub-title newspaper of the Reich Association of Christian Domestic Helpers , from 1928 newspaper of the Reich Association of Christian Domestic Helpers in Austria and then until 1938 organ of the Christian Association of Female Domestic Servants in Vienna . The continuation of the magazine from 1970 to 1979 was The Household Servant .
