The Bereaved was a tour - cabaret that existed from 1945 to 1949 .

The texts for a changing line-up were also written by the founders Herrmann Mostar and Heinz Hartwig .

The bereaved belonged to the first German cabarets after the end of the Second World War . In December 1945 the first program of the traveling group was performed: We heat it up . Tours with other programs followed. In addition to the authors, who occasionally also appeared, the interpreters included Gerda Bundesmann , Senta Foltin and Harald Wolff .

On the occasion of the opening of the cabaret theater Der Ulenspiegel , they gave a guest performance there on June 22, 1946.

In 1949 the cabaret fell victim to the general theater death.
