Pauline likes crime stories and Sarah is passionate about astrology . The group experiences adventures and fights with the boys. They investigate crime stories and listen to music while lying in the sun.

The rattlesnakes

Jacky is originally from Mexico, where she was born. In the first volume, she moved to Germany, where she made friends with Kalliope and founded the rattlesnakes with Sarah, Nixe and Pauline . Jacky is funny, sporty and knows the ancient Aztecs well . Jacky has brown hair, brown eyes and a slightly dark skin tone, which indicates her Mexican origins. She has a little brother named Siergo.

Kalliope is Jacky's best friend and is considered top of the class and is very ambitious. Kalliope has long blonde hair and likes to wear dungarees and glasses. Since her mother moved out, she has lived alone with her father. Kalliope's sandpit friend Lutz is a member of the Rote Sieben, and Kalliope also works for the school newspaper from volume four.

Sarah has red curly hair, is often groomed, and sometimes tries to succeed with guys. Sarah is interested in astrology and loves to play theater in her school's musical group.

Mermaid , whose real name is Nicole, has short, black, messy hair, which she often tames with headscarves, and likes to experiment with chemicals. From volume three, she is the first of the rattlesnakes that already has a boyfriend - Tosse, one of the red ones.

Pauline has short brown hair and is a bit chubby. Since her parents successfully travel through the countries as actors, Pauline lives on a farm with her grandfather and great aunt Henriette. Pauline is very curious and likes to get to the bottom of things, which is why she is also the female Sherlock Holmes of the rattlesnakes .
