Die Macher (spelling: DIE MACHER) is an Austrian business magazine with a focus on Upper Austria, the northern central area of Vienna, Lower Austria and Salzburg. It was founded in 2012 by Alexandra Auböck, David Böhm and Susanna Wurm. The magazine appears quarterly both in print and online. The editor-in-chief is Susanna Wurm.

The magazine focuses on the Upper Austrian economic area and its growth. However, the focus is not only on numbers, data and facts, but above all on the stories behind them. Personalities, innovations and the communication of values and knowledge are in the foreground.
In terms of content, the magazine is divided into seven categories, which are thematically diverse:
- Progress (innovations / research and development / university location / innovative start-ups / future technologies / sustainability and energy future)

history
The magazine was founded in 2012 by Alexandra Auböck, David Böhm and Susanna Wurm. One of the main reasons for this was to create a presentation platform for founders and start-ups.
Circulation and range
Die Macher appears four times a year and has a circulation of at least 40,000 copies per issue, making it the magazine with the highest circulation in Upper Austria. It is intended to reach opinion leaders and executives in the country through target group mailings and subscriptions. It is available in stores throughout Upper Austria and is available in branches in Austria.
