The saga of the ice people
The saga of the Eisvolk ( Norwegian Sagaen om Isfolket ; Swedish Sagan om Isfolket ) is a series of novels by Margit Sandemo . Between 1982 and 1989, 47 volumes were published in Swedish and Norwegian. It is a family saga with fantastic elements that has meanwhile been translated into all Nordic and some Eastern European languages. Since June 2008 it has been published in English on a monthly basis .
At the end of the 1990s, the first attempt was made to establish the series on the German market. The books printed in Norway were sold by the BKH- Verlag through mail order and at kiosks. But with Volume 9 the series was stopped again.
From June 2007 the series was re-published by Blanvalet (and later also published as an e-book), but was discontinued there with Volume 8.
