Die Schatzsucher-Triplets is a book series for young people by the Austrian author Thomas Brezina and is published by Ravensburger Buchverlag .

Plot and characters

The series is about the triplets Charlotte-Daniela (nickname ChaCha), Peter-Christian (nickname PC) and Florian-Pit (nickname Floppi). Her father, Mr. Lopega, is a famous magician who gives his performances all over the world. Since the death of his wife, he has taken the triplets with him on all his travels to his performances. Since he is always busy preparing his shows, he always hires nannies and house tutors for the triplets.

The triplets get the job of their great uncle Sylvester, who has been in a wheelchair since a serious car accident, to track down a lost treasure that is said to be hidden or buried near their whereabouts. Her father does not agree with this because he is very afraid for her.

All books are based on a historical incident about a treasure that has actually been lost. At the beginning of each book it is told who the treasure belonged to and how it was lost. Then the real story begins about the triplets who track down him. At the end of the books the reader can try to find the treasure himself. For this purpose, a map is inserted on the last page that shows the area around the hiding place. You can find the hiding place by thinking carefully and combining things. The final chapter finally reveals the resolution.
