reception

Critic voices describe Wiedling's work as a “disturbing psychodrama”, “precise family portrait” and “bitter moral image”. Thomas Wiedling succeeds in captivating his readers while he kidnaps them into a world of assumptions and premonitions.

Matthias Politycki said of his colleague's book:

“It's not easy for a writer to go from experimental writing to narrator. Thomas Wiedling did it. "
