The Inseparable is a waltz by Johann Strauss Sohn (op. 108). The work was performed for the first time on February 16, 1852 in the Redouten Hall in the Hofburg in Vienna.

Remarks

The waltz Die Unzertrennlichen was composed for the carnival season in 1852. The work's premiere took place during the first citizens' ball in the Hofburg since the end of the revolution of 1848 . The name of the work evokes the inseparability between the government or the imperial family and the population. The waltz was dedicated to the committee of the citizens' ball in question. Later there was a second definition of the name The Inseparable . Accordingly, Johann Strauss and his followers should be regarded as inseparable.

The playing time on the CD listed under individual records is 6 minutes and 40 seconds. Depending on the musical conception of the conductor, this time can change by up to a minute plus or minus.
