The Westerwaldsterne is the usual abbreviation for the KV. The Westerwaldsterne Tanzkorps Blau-Weiß Uckerath eV from 1969 , a carnival club from Hennef (Sieg) - Uckerath .

Foundation of an association

In 1969, the Corps concluded Uckerather dance I hale pool of KG Remm Flemm on. The name was changed to blue and white Mir hale pool . 1973 in Karlsruhe the dance corps became German runner-up in the mixed carnival guard dance . In 1974 KV Blau-Weiß Uckerath split off from the club. In 1976 the name Die Westerwaldsterne became the club name.

Since 1993 the Westerwaldsterne have not taken part in tournaments of the BDK . A youth dance group has also existed since 1995. In 1998 the Westerwaldsterne were included in the Muuzemändelcher . The Westerwald stars are also included in the Kitzingen Carnival Museum .

Foundation, endowment

In 1980 the Westerwaldsternen set up a foundation with 20,000 DM to build the Uckerath cemetery chapel.
