The blue hand (Original title: The Blue Hand ) is a crime novel by the English writer Edgar Wallace . The original edition appeared in 1925, a German translation for the first time in 1928.

action

The assistant to the London star lawyer Septimus Salter, Jim Steele, is very busy with the sudden disappearance of the millionaire heiress Dorothy Danton 20 years ago. Shortly before, Dorothy's mother, Lady Mary Danton, had also disappeared. Since Dorothy was one and a half years old at the time, Jim Steele thinks he recognizes the missing Dorothy in his girlfriend Eunice Weldon. Shortly afterwards Eunice is employed by Digby Groat, the current heir to the Danton property. Now Jim Steele senses danger for Eunice.
