The jolly Mölltaler
The cheerful Mölltalers , until 1999 the original cheerful Mölltalers , were a quintet of folk music from Carinthia . It was founded in 1971 and consisted of Huby Mayer , who composed all of the group's songs, as well as Josef Ladinig, Lucky Ladstätter, Peter Pichler and Wolfgang Kaufmann. They had their first success in 1979 with the song "Why only, I ask you that". The cheerful Mölltaler published 50 records by 2009 and received several awards for their productions. In 2016 the group announced their departure.
