Diego Lamas is a town in northern Uruguay , named in honor of the military, politician and civil war personality Diego Eugenio Lamas (1810–1868).
geography
It is located in the southern center of the Artigas department . A few kilometers to the west is Baltasar Brum , to the east is Paso Campamento , while to the northeast is Cuaró .
Residents
Diego Lamas has 128 inhabitants, 77 of them male and 51 female (as of 2011). In the previous censuses from 1963 to 2004, no statistical data was collected for the location.
