Diego Martín (drummer)
Diego Martín (born April 23, 1976) is a Spanish drummer.
Life
Studied music in Madrid, took drum lessons with Pedro López, Juan Manuel Barroso and music theory with Miguel Blanco. From 1994 to 1999 studied at the Encounter Center for Improvisation Development (CEDI), there drums with Pedro López and Belma Martín, improvisation with Barry Harrys and Eddie Pregos. Participant in the first and second Improvised Music International Festival at the French and German institutes in Madrid. Cooperations with various jazz greats such as Peter Kowald u. a. Long-term collaboration with the Spanish hurdy-gurdy player Germán Díaz , a. a. in the Rao Trio , the Oh Trio! and the Duo Marisco fresco . With this duo also collaboration with the German group Ensemble DRAj .
