Diepenbeck Park

The Diepenbeck Park is the largest park in the city Hattingen in Ennepe-Ruhr district . It is located in the Welper district . It has an area of ​​around 31,000 m². To the north, the Welpers market square joins Thingstrasse, to the south it runs in a Siepen towards the valley of the Sprockhöveler Bach . The Diepenbeckweg runs to the west. In fact, the Diepenbecke did not run here , but further northwest in the village. In 2018, the city issued a ban on alcohol consumption in the park. In 2019 the park was redesigned, including an area for urban gardening . The cost was 600,000 euros.
