Diepertsbuch is located southeast of the town center of Aalen and southeast of Ebnat and is connected to traffic with the K 3033 district road , which runs a little west of the town.
The place lies on a plateau of the Swabian Alb , the Härtsfeld .
history
Diepertsbuch was first mentioned in 1298 as Dieprehstezbuech , which is possibly derived from the name Diebold . Allegedly the farm belonged to the endowment of the monastery Neresheim , which lost it. From 1278 the monastery bought the place back from the noble families von Katzenstein and von Hürnheim . In the 15th century, the monastery had the farm run by Konversen and had a sheep farm in the 18th century . Since 1803 the place has been a domain of the Princes of Thurn and Taxis .
