Dieter Hilser

Dieter Hilser (born September 21, 1953 in Triberg ) is a German politician ( SPD ). From 2000 to 2017 he was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1971, Hilser studied economics at the University of Freiburg . He graduated in 1981 with a degree in economics. Before moving into the state parliament in 2000, he was most recently managing director of GEW NRW .

politics

Hilser has been a member of the SPD since 1975. He was a member of the party council of the SPD NRW and from 1996 to 2000 chairman of the sub-district committee in Essen. Until 2003 he was deputy chairman and since 2003 he has been chairman of the Essen sub-district. From 1994 to 2000 he was a member of the city council of Essen, where he was the building and transport policy spokesman for the SPD parliamentary group. Hilser is also a member of the IGBCE . From June 2, 2000 he was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia, where he was a full member and initially spokesman for his party of the Committee on Building and Transport. Hilser was later chairman of the committee for building, housing, urban development and transport.
