In November 2001 Krýzl took part in the FIS races for the first time, appearances in the European Cup followed from December 2004. On October 23, 2005 he contested his first World Cup race, the giant slalom in Sölden . At the Junior World Championships in 2006 in the Canadian province of Québec Krýzl won the bronze medal in the combined ranking.
At the beginning of his career, Krýzl was considered an all-rounder and raced in all disciplines. Over time, he turned away from downhill and super-G and concentrated on the technical disciplines. On January 27, 2008, he won his first World Cup points as the 25th of the super combined in Chamonix . The following 2008/09 season was his most successful to date. On December 12th, 2008 he achieved his best World Cup result so far , finishing ninth in the Super Combined in Val-d'Isère, and on January 27th, 2009 he achieved 13th place in the night slalom on the Planai in Schladming . Two weeks later, at the 2009 World Championships in Val-d'Isère , he achieved eighth place in the slalom and eleventh place in the super combined as the best results. Previously, his best result at major events was 20th place in the combination of the 2006 Winter Olympics .
The good results of the 2008/09 season Krýzl could not repeat in the following two years. Although he celebrated his first European Cup victory in the giant slalom in Levi on November 26, 2009, in the World Cup and at major events - with the exception of a 17th place in the super combination of the 2010 Winter Olympics - he did not rank in the top 20. He celebrated a victory for the Czech team at the season finale on March 14, 2010 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen in the team competition, which is only part of the Nations Cup. - On January 8, 2012, Krýzl finished twelfth in the Adelboden slalom for the first time in almost three years, again among the fastest 20 in a World Cup race.
