The 2017 season of the Alpine Australia New Zealand Cup was held at two venues in Australia and New Zealand from the end of August to the beginning of September 2017 and - like the other continental racing series of the international ski association FIS - was a substructure for the World Cup . According to the FIS regulations, it is already part of the 2017/2018 multi-year competition season. Eight races each were organized for men and women, and both competitions traveled together to the competitions.

The ski area at Mount Hutt in New Zealand was originally planned as the third station . There should be four Super-G races. However, the competitions were canceled, so that there were no races in this discipline in the 2017 season.
