Nathalie Eklund contested her first FIS races in December 2007 and achieved her first podium positions a year later. In the 2008/2009 season she took part in the first European Cup races and for the first time in a Junior World Championship , but did not yet achieve any top placements. Since the 2009/2010 season , Eklund has regularly competed in the European Cup. At the beginning of winter, she achieved her first top 10 results in this racing series with two fourth places in the two slaloms of Funäsdalen . At the Junior World Championship in 2010 , she finished eleventh in slalom and giant slalom. In 2009 and 2010 she was the Swedish Junior Champion in giant slalom.
In the World Cup , Eklund made his debut on November 13, 2010 in the Levi slalom . At her second World Cup start on January 11, 2011, she won her first World Cup points as 24th in the Flachau slalom . She achieved her first podium in the European Cup in March 2012, finishing second in the Courmayeur Slalom . On December 20, 2012, she achieved her best result in a World Cup race to date, finishing sixth in the Åre slalom . At the 2013 World Cup she won the silver medal in the team competition, and a gold medal in the same discipline was added at the 2013 Junior World Cup .
