In spring 2010 Feller was accepted into the C-team of the Austrian Ski Association (ÖSV). After winning the first points in the European Cup, he was nominated for the 2012 Junior World Championship in Roccaraso , where, in addition to fourth place in the team competition, his best individual result was 14th place in the giant slalom. In March 2012 he was Austrian runner-up in slalom behind Mario Matt , and at the end of the season he was promoted to the B-team of the ÖSV.

At the beginning of the 2012/13 season , Feller made his first appearances in the World Cup in his strongest discipline, slalom . In his second World Cup race on December 8, 2012 in Val-d'Isère , he won his first World Cup points in 23rd place. Four days later he celebrated his first victory in the European Cup in the Obereggen slalom . Feller took part in the City Event in Moscow on January 29, 2013 . He was eliminated in the first lap, which was equivalent to tied for ninth place.

At the 2013 Junior Alpine World Championships in Québec, Feller won the gold medal in slalom. On January 24th, 2014 he achieved his best World Cup result to date with 8th place in the slalom in Kitzbühel . In December 2014, Feller suffered a herniated disc , which meant that he was out for the remainder of the 2014/15 season. In the 2015/16 season , he finished fourth in the giant slalom in Val-d'Isère on December 12, 2015, and achieved his best result in the World Cup to date.

He started the 2016/17 season with 5th place in the Levi slalom. He then had to struggle with several failures until he achieved a good result again in seventh place in the Adelboden slalom. Sixth place in the Schladming slalom followed two more retirements. In the giant slalom he achieved an excellent result in Adelboden when he was fifth. He was nominated for the Alpine World Ski Championships 2017 in St. Moritz and took 5th place in the team competition with Austria. In the slalom, he won the silver medal behind his teammate Marcel Hirscher .

In the 2017/18 season he managed to establish himself in the absolute world class in the giant slalom. While he had several failures in slalom in addition to fourth and fifth places, he consistently made it into the top 10 in his second discipline and made it to a World Cup podium for the first time in second in the giant slalom in Garmisch-Partenkirchen behind Marcel Hirscher. At the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang , the 25-year-old won the silver medal in the team competition with Stephanie Brunner , Katharina Gallhuber , Katharina Liensberger , Michael Matt and Marco Schwarz .
