Dieter Nusbaum (* 1972 in Neuerburg , Eifel ) is a German painter who combines various techniques such as photography, screen printing and painting in a complex mix of materials.

Life

Dieter Nusbaum was born in Neuerburg in 1972. He lives and works in Frechen near Cologne.

After studying sport and theology at Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, he studied painting at the Institut Supèrieur des Beaux-Arts Saint Luc in Liège from 1996 to 1999 . Since then he has been working as a freelance artist.

Between 2002 and 2008 he had a teaching position for art and art history at the St. Josef-Gymnasium Biesdorf.

In 2013 he founded the artist group Überkopf together with Dirk Groß and Thomas Hoffmann.

In 2018 he opened the Overhead Gallery in Münster together with Thomas Hoffmann.

Works by Dieter Nusbaum can be found in various German and international galleries. They have also been shown at art fairs such as AAF Singapore, AAF London Battersea, AAF London Hampstead, Paris Art Fair, Lausanne Art Fair, Art Fair Cologne, Art Luxembourg and Art Karlsruhe.
