Dietmar Langberg

Dietmar Langberg (born August 17, 1954 in Rostock ) is a German author, dramaturge and editor.

Life

After graduating from high school in 1973 in Parchim / Mecklenburg and two years as an assistant director, he studied theater studies from 1975 to 1980 at the "Hans Otto" theater school in Leipzig. He was then engaged as a dramaturge at the Leipzig Opera and the Musical Comedy until 1988. This was followed by engagements as chief dramaturge at the Schwerin Philharmonic and the Central German State Theater in Wittenberg . From 2003 to 2010 he worked as a music dramaturge at the Schleswig-Holstein State Theater in Flensburg . From 2010 to 2013 he was editor in charge of the monthly magazine bühnengenossenschaft of the Cooperative of German Stage Members in Hamburg.

In addition to his work as a dramaturge and editor, he wrote books, plays, articles for newspapers and designed programs for Radio DDR II and the NDR .

Dietmar Langberg is married, has two children and lives in Leipzig.
