Dieveniškės (Polish Dziewieniszki ) is a small town ( miestelis ) and the seat of the eponymous administrative district ( seniūnija ) in the Rajongemeinde Šalčininkai in southern Lithuania near the capital Vilnius . The Dieveniškės area protrudes far into Belarus and is surrounded on three sides by its territory. It forms a focus of the Polish minority in Lithuania . There is the Dieveniškės Regional Park . In 2011 the town had 720 inhabitants.
