The Digital Fitness App ( DFA ) is a mobile app from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), which is used to assess and optimize the digital knowledge of employees within a company. For this purpose, short learning units in the form of reading material, videos, podcasts and infographics are provided in the app. The app can be located in the corporate software area in the e-learning area .

Overview

The digital fitness app is used to further develop digital skills. A so-called digital fitness assessment, a questionnaire that records the current level of knowledge as well as individual weaknesses and strengths, is carried out with the respective users of the app. The current level of knowledge is shown in the form of a score, a digital fitness score. Based on the number of points, users can set individual goals and compile a training plan from 60 digital topics to promote their digital skills. With the score, users can compare themselves within their department as well as within the entire organization.

The app is based on scientific research by experts on organizational behavior and cultural change at the PwC Katzenbach Center, which also conducts the PwC Digital IQ Survey.

The digital fitness app is intended to help decision-makers gain a better understanding of the digital skills of their employees so that the digital transformation of their companies can be promoted.

use

The application can be downloaded from the Apple App Store (iOS) and the Google Play Store. However, only employees of companies who have acquired a license from PwC can actively use the app. According to their own information, over 150,000 people from nine different countries already use the digital fitness app.

costs

PwC offers the application at a subscription price. Interested companies buy licenses that are billed per user per month.
