Digital World was a magazine about "Consumer Electronics" and "Digital Living" from the Munich publishing house of the International Data Group (IDG). It was developed in 2003 by Stephan Scherzer (Publishing Director) and Jürgen Bruckmeier (Editor-in-Chief). The magazine appeared for the first time for the International Radio Exhibition (IFA) in 2003 and for the last time in mid-2007. There were numerous offshoots of “Digital World” in many countries around the world: 2004 in the USA, 2005 in Japan, then in France, in Switzerland and in Eastern Europe. These issues have also been discontinued. Digital World was initially continued as a website at IDG Germany, later integrated into the website of the PC world as a digital lifestyle section .
