The initiative was one of the central announcements at the Apple developer conference WWDC in early June 2018. The functionalities are now being delivered under the name Screen Time with the operating system version iOS12 . Here, too, there should be overviews that show how much time users spend with the device and in individual apps. Apple was recently even asked by investor Jana Partners to do more about it.
