Dildo is a fishing and tourist town on the island of Newfoundland, which belongs to the Canadian province of Newfoundland and Labrador .
The place is at the southeast end of Trinity Bay in the west of the Avalon Peninsula . Dildo is approx. 90 km from the provincial capital St. John's . In front of the place is the island of the same name, Dildo .
Dildo has the status of a designated place within subdivision E of the Census Division No. 1 . In the 2016 census, the population was 1234. Five years earlier it was 1,198.
