Dimitri Buschin

Dimitri "Dima" Buschin (born June 15, 1968 ) is a former Russian - German basketball player. The 2.06 meter tall center player played in the basketball league for SG Braunschweig and for BCJ Hamburg .

career

Buschin was a Soviet junior national player and moved to USC Magdeburg in Germany in the early 1990s. In the game year 1994/95 he went basketball for BCJ Hamburg in the 2nd basketball league , in the 1995/96 season he was part of the squad of the first division club SG Braunschweig. In 1996 he returned to Hamburg and was promoted to the basketball league with the Hanseatic League in 1999 . In the 1999/2000 season, the inside player was used in 23 Bundesliga matches and averaged 1.4 points per game. In December 2000 he left BCJ and moved to OBC Wolmirstedt in the second division, after having played ten Bundesliga games for Hamburg in the 2000/01 season, posting averages of 1.8 points and 2.2 rebounds per match .

Buschin played in Wolmirstedt until 2005 or after the team moved to Magdeburg, most of it in the 1st regional league. After the end of his competitive sports career, he is still active for lower-class Magdeburg teams.
