Diocles (Abai)
Diocles ( ancient Greek Διοκλῆς ) was in the 2nd century BC. A dynast of the city of Abai in Arabia.
It is only known from its mention by Diodorus . Alexander I. Balas is said to have found shelter with him with five hundred of his followers after he was fighting Ptolemy VI. was inferior and had to flee. There he is said to have been murdered by two apostates. Before that, Diocles should already have Alexander's son Antiochus VI. have recorded with you.
