The Dioscuri. For science and art. Writings in a colorful series were a Berlin magazine of Young Germany , published by Veit & Comp from 1836 under the editorship of Theodor Mundt .

The Dioskuren appeared in Berlin from 1856 to 1875. Initially the subtitle was magazine for art, art industry and artistic life , from 1860 Deutsche Kunst-Zeitung. Main organ of the German art associations . The editor and later sole editor was the art historian Max Schasler (1819–1903). All articles contained in this journal are recorded online.

The Dioscuri. The literary yearbook of the First General Association of Officials of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy was first published in 1872 by L. Rosner, Vienna, then in the Manz'schen kk Hof-, Verlags- und Universitätsbuchhandlung, Vienna.
